What happens when I go over a budget?

Nothing is blocked. Your payments are saved as usual, and the budget shows how much you're over.

Do my rent and subscriptions count toward a budget?

Not when they're recurring payments in Spentio. A budget tracks what varies and leaves your fixed bills out.

Pick a category, set a limit, and Spentio shows what's left as the month goes.

Choose + at the top, then Budget.
On iPhone: The + is at the top right of every tab.
Choose Category for a whole category, or Subcategory for a finer slice, then pick it.
Choose how often it starts over: Monthly, Yearly, or Campaign for dates you set, like a trip.
Type the limit, then choose when to hear about it in Alert me at.
Save it. It appears in Planning, under Budgets.
On the web: Choose Create Budget.
On iPhone: Tap Create.
